Schreiner gave an interesting review of a 3-act play to entertain members of the Ladies Literary club when they were guests of Mrs. Paul Thorn, at the lovely new home of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Thorn, Friday afternoon. To supplement the program, Miss June Thorn gave two piano selections. The meeting was in charge of Mrs. Glen W. Sumsion, president, who conducted short business in which it was decided that the club would assist the Utah Valley Hospital Guild with some of their work and Mrs. Sumsion Sum-sion invited club members to meet at her home on June 28 to do the work. The program was preceded by a tasty lunch served by the hostess to twenty-one club members. Mrs. M. O. Packard Jr., of California was a special guest. It was the last regular meeting of the club season. |
