Show Stanley Bird is Installed New Jaycee President at Mapleton Installed . . . Stanley Bird of Mapleton was installed in-stalled president of the Mapleton Junior Chamber of Commerce at a dinner-meeting and program last Thursday at Kapp's Melody Inn. Neno Antonino was toastmaster and introduced Weston Cofford of Orem, newly-elected state vice-president, vice-president, who officiated at the installation. in-stallation. Other officers installed during the evening include: Joseph Carn-esecca, Carn-esecca, Roland Hansen, vice-president; Martin Pererro, secretary-treasurer; secretary-treasurer; Neno Antonino and Jack Bona are holdover directors. Fred Jensen and Neil Whiting are the 2-year 2-year directors and Johnnie Bleggi is the state director. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the past president's presi-dent's pin to Johnnie Bleggi, by Preston Hooper, a past president of the club. Johnnie thanked all who assisted in making the past Jaycee club year a success. The incoming president gave a brief outline of activities planned for the coming season. Special guests at the installation dinner, were Richard Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Wes Kofford of Orem. I . Stanley Bird Graduates from "Y" Norman Dunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dunn of this city, was among the Brigham Young university univer-sity graduates this week. Norman graduated from the local lo-cal high school and has filled an LDS mission. He also attended school at the University of Utah. |
