Show Funeral Services Today 2 p.m. For T. Burdell Paxman Thomas Burdell Paxman, 64, resident of Springville for the past 17 years, died unexpectedly at the home of a son, Ronald Paxman Pax-man at Spanish Fork, Monday morning, after a lingering illness. He had been visiting at the son's home only a week. Mr. Paxman was born at Silver City, March 13, 1887, son of Geo. and Emily Woodhead Paxman. He lived at Silver City most of his life, coming to Springville about 1933. He had followed the occupation occupa-tion of mining, working at Silver Sil-ver City and at Eureka Mines. He became a member of the LDS Church about two years ago. He married Clara Jean Bear-dall, Bear-dall, December 19, 1908, at Provo. Surviving are his widow and seven sons and daughters, William Paxman of Eureka; Frank Paxman Pax-man of Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Au-leen Au-leen P. Burdell Paxton (Continued irom page one) Lavern Bryan, Payson; Ronald Paxman, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Emily Campbell and Dean Pax-man Pax-man of Springville; also his mother of Ripon, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Kate Gawthrop, Alameda, Calif.; a brother, Golden Paxman, Ripon, Calif.; a half-sister, Mrs. Pearl Scally, Grass Valley, Calif.; 25 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today, Thursday at 2 p. m., in the First ward chapel under un-der direction of Bishop R. W. Bradford. Friends may call at the family residence, 654 East Seventh South, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary. |
