Show Highlight of Choir Tour Toldjt Club Guest Night i" interesting program was provided for a large group of mem bers of the Alpha Beta club and their husbands Friday of last week when they were entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs W W. Clyde. Mrs. E. T. Crandall was co-hostess. Mrs. Ruth J. Clawson, Salt Lake City, a member of the Salt Lake Tabernacle Choir, and her husband, Dr. T. A. Clawson, physician phys-ician in charge during the tour, gave highlights of their trip telling tell-ing how they were received by the people and of the good will accomplishments of the choral group. Accompanying Dr. and Mrs. Clawson from Salt Lake City were Dr. and Mrs. Ingenuus Bent-zar, Bent-zar, who spoke briefly. Mrs. Bent-zar Bent-zar accompanied Mrs. Clawson for three vocal numbers rendered as part of the evening's entertainment. entertain-ment. After the talks, the visiting guest speakers answered questions from the group and all participated participat-ed in a general discussion. The speakers were introduced by Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson of the club who showed one of the choir programs from a city In Holland. Refreshments were served in conclusion to forty-four club members mem-bers and guests. Assisting with the serving were daughters of the hostesses, Mrs. Blake Gammell and Mrs. Leonard Harward. |
