Show Central Council PTA Elects New 1956-57 Officers Mrs. J. Joe Miller was elected president of the Springville-Ma-pleton central council PTA at their meeting Wednesday evening at Brookside school. Elected to serve with Mrs. Miller was Mrs. Steve Miller as first vice president; Principal ..C. ..Lynn Hanks, second vice president and school representative; and Mrs Dale Allred, secretary-treasurer.. The retiring president, Mrs. D. La-Rell La-Rell Johnson, will serve as third vice president of the organization. A film on "Children in Trouble" was shown and a discussion on what the PTA could do to help curb juvenile delinquency was held with the group, directed by W. W. Brockbank, superintendent of the Nebo schools. The election marked the close of activities this year for the PTA council which acts as a counceling group to officers of the various school organizations. The retiring president automatically automa-tically becomes third vice-president and a teacher is elected as school representative serving as vice-president vice-president of the council each year.
