Show Completes Service . . , ; ' " ' K , " ( Alc Robert R. Thorpe Airman Completes Service Time; Makes Itae Here Airman 1st class Robert R. Thorpe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Thorpe, has just been released from the airforce after four years of service. Robert spent the past 18 months at Misawa airbase in the northern part of Japan. The previous two years were spent at Walker air base in Roswell, New Mexico. He worked as an accountant in the I reconciliations department during i his service period following com pletion of his basic training at San Antonio, Tex. Active in athletics during his high school days here, Robert con- tinucd this activity in the service, j having played basketball on a squadron team in a league of 20 teams. Robert's wife, JoAnn and daughter daugh-ter Gail, spent the past year in Redwood City, Calif., at the home of he? sisteMrs. M,D.
