Show Former Resident Dies In Idaho Burial Here Friday Mrs. Miry Elizabeth Groesbeck Packard, 85, died Tuesday of last week at 3:35 a.m. in a Pocatcllo, Idaho, hospital after a short illness. ill-ness. Born Feb. 17, 1864, she was a daughter of Sephen V. and Mary Ann Beauvais Groesbeck, Utah pioneers. She was married Sept. 14, 1862, in Springville to Isaac Charley Packard. He died Jan. 4, 1938. Mrs. Packard resided in Springville Spring-ville until 1900, when she moved to Boise, Idaho. She was a resident of Idaho until 1926. residing since that time in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian church. Surviving are two sons, Isaac Charley Packard Jr., Pocatello, and Clyde Ellis Packard. Houston, Texas; two daughters. Mrs. Mamie Hedden, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Hazel Strachan. Pocatello; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren grand-children and one great-greatgrandchild. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Salt Lake City by Rev. W. Malcolm Gwaltney, 1 minister, First Presbyterian church. I Burial was in Evergreen ceme- I tery here. |
