Show rived in Springville Saturday from Monterey Park, Calif., and plan to be here several weeks. They are making- their home for the present at Paul auto court on South Main. lotte Anderson of Provo and Beth Barney and Ruth Boyer of Spring-ville Spring-ville and their families motored to Price Sunday to have Easter dinner din-ner with another daughter and sister lone Anderson and family. Honoring' their son Ron, before he returned to his navy station in Long Beach, Mr. and Mrs. also visited with Mrs. Hall's broth-re broth-re Lionel Averett and family. Don Skinner and Robert Skinner, Skin-ner, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Skinner of this city are spending a few days home from the service. Don has been given a 30-day leave after being stationed in Pearl Harbor, Har-bor, T.H. two years. He will re ctum to Treasure Island. Robert will have 14 days after completing his boot training at San Diego. He will report to the USS Isbell. Both young men called at the Herald office Tuesday to express their appreciation for the Springville Herald. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Alleman ar- George Roylance gave a dinner Sunday with guests including their sons and daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Sperry of Nephi; Mr. and Mrs. Blair Warner of Spanish Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Duane, Ron, Karen and Orville Roylance. Mrs. Pearl Hall with her daughters daugh-ters Merlyn Prothero and Charlotte Char-lotte Anderson and children of Provo; Beth Barney and Ruth Boyer and their children of Springville Spring-ville were in Salt Lake City Friday Fri-day of last week to visit Mrs. Lottie Lot-tie Hall, a sister of Mrs. Hall who had just arrived at the home of another an-other sister, Mrs. Ed Johnson, Salt Lake City for a short stay before going- on to Oakland, Calif. They lonnd-'n-llout Jown ... Mrs. Anna Young had as her quests recently ner daughter and wn-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Romncy of Pullman, Wash. They cilso came to see their two daughters daugh-ters who are attending the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robcrson of Louisville, Ky., came to Springville Spring-ville to attend the funeral services for Ray's father John Roberson last week. They returned on Friday Fri-day and planned to be home only a few days before going to Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. to attend the wedding of their son Jack. Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson visited her parents in Richfield one clay last week going especially to see her father, Henry Poulson, who is convalescing from a recent major operation. Lt. George Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson arrived ar-rived home recently from Korea, where he had been stationed the past ten months and was given a months furlough. He plans to leave the latter part of the month for his new air base in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Owen B. Wright and daughter Marlene of Hurricane Hurri-cane spent two days of the past week with Mrs. Wright's mother, Mrs. Ellen Crandall and brother Gregg Crandall and family in Springville. They were enroute home from Washington, D. C. where Mr. Wright had spent the past two months on government work. He was joined there by Mrs. Wright and Marlene who motored there to spend a few days before he returned. Mrs. Wright and daughter took the southern route to Washington and while there enjoyed en-joyed several sightseeing tours, returning re-turning with Mr. Wright by way of the northern route. Among DUP members attending attend-ing the convention in Salt Lake City recently were Mrs. Hattie Williams, Mrs. Pearl Hall, Mrs. Florence Ekker, Mrs. Anna Young from Camp Springville.
