Show City Clean-up Set Friday 20-30 Club Will Collect Scrap Mefa! During Day Springville's annual clean-up day is scheduled for Friday, April 15, weather permitting. The annual an-nual event is being supervised by the city with the cooperation of the schools and the civic clubs. Students of the junior and senior sen-ior high school will meet Friday morning at 8 a.m. at the streets assigned the respective classes. Also the fourth, fifth and sixth grades will meet at the streets assigned. All the other students below the fourth grade will not attend school Friday, but arc asked ask-ed to assist in home clean-up. Various civic clubs will have men assigned to assist teachers and the city in cleaning the specified spec-ified streets. City dump trucks will haul the trash away. In connection with the clean-up, the 20-30 club will be happy to haul any scrap iron, stoves, etc., away. Phone Blaine' Johnson and members of the club will pick up the scrap. This is an annual drive sponsored by the club to raise money for the rheumatic fever drive assigned them. |
