Show Geneva Plant Plans Sept. Open House i Management and employees of U. S. Steel's Geneva works are busy making plans for family day open house Friday, September 16, when the gates of the huge steel mill will be open to the employees, their families and friends for the first time in history. James V. Mazurie, division superintendent sup-erintendent of the rolling mills, has been selected as general chairman chair-man of the event. Myron J. Ful-rath, Ful-rath, assistant superintendent of industrial relations, will serve as assistant chairman. "Visiting hours will be from nine o'clock in the mourning until six o'clock' that night and we expect ex-pect more than 10,000 members of our families and their friends to come and visit us that day, Mr. Mazurie said. "Adequate parking lots for all cars will be provided. Transportation for the tours of the plant will be furnished from the time our 1 guests enter the gates until they leave. Especially trained guides will be provided to see that no one misses any part of the plant tour." |
