A. and Relief society convention will be held , in connection with quarterly conference at the Fourth ward chapel, I Saturday and Sunday, announces President J. Emmett Bird. t The stake executive officers of Relief society will meet at 1:30 , p. m.. followed by a meeting of class leaders at 2 p. m., and a - ,m'ct'ne of stae and ward offi-S Cera at 3 o'clock. At i p. m., Saturday, a general gen-eral M. I. A. meeting will con-j con-j vene in the chapel. The Relief so-' so-' cietv stake board members have ' their meeting scheduled for 7:30 p. r.i. Both organizations have meetings meet-ings scheduled lor 8:d0 a. m.. Sunday, the M. I. A. officers and teachers to convene at this time, while the stake and ward officers, offi-cers, of the Relief society with the advisory high councilmen and ward bishops will also meet. At 10 a. m., and at 2 p. m. Sunday, general conference will bo held under direction of President Presi-dent Bird. President Hannah M. Clyde of the Relief society and Superintendent G. Lowry Anderson Ander-son and President Vilate K. Reynolds Reyn-olds of the M. I. A., will have charge of the auxiliary organization organiza-tion sessions. The meeting Sunday night will : be under direction of the M. I. A. : with a fine musical program to be given. Speakers at the M. I. A. meet-I meet-I ings and who will also attend general gen-eral sessions of the conference are: Dr. L. A. Stevenson, Elmer I Christensen, Dr. T. Earl Pardoe, Haze! Brockbank, all of the general gen-eral board, also Clarissa Beesley, field secretary. I Representatives from the gen-I gen-I ' ctal buard of Relief society will also be in attendance to give instructions in-structions at the department meet- ings and to speak at the gen-oral gen-oral conference sessions. |
