Election of officers and w selection of a convention city are slated Wednesday afternoon. Jinny Resolution Many resolutions were introduced intro-duced Monday afternoon and referred re-ferred to committees for study. One of the major ones urged a legislation to place all utilities, Private and publicly owned, under un-der supervision of the Utah public pub-lic service commission. The resolution states present laws affect only privately owned utilities, thus creating an unfair iSi competitive basis and directly af-; af-; fecting the welfare of the members mem-bers of the Electrical Workers' -J Union having contracts with I Privately owned electric utilities companies. Other important resolutions introduced in-troduced included: Seek legislative legisla-tive action on a pension program, civ'l service and other changes in Working conditions for employes j' the Utah state hospital; in-,J'dnrse in-,J'dnrse the federal apprenticeship tp: P'an and seek a similar state rJjP'"Sram; bar any state legislator 5J 'rum appointing 'to a state office f' Paying more than $300 per year X I ""linK his legislative term or for DC!
