Classed among- the best light operas, the production is among the most difficult ever attempted by the school. Because of the great cost of producing "The Chocolate Soldier" it is scheduled now to be given on but one night, March 16, at the high school auditorium. Citizens are urged to get tickets early as the auditorium will undoubtedly be more than filled that night. The opera is being given under the direction of Carl Nelson with Miss Bernice Park directing the dramatics; L. W. Peterson, the orchestration; Wayne Johnson, the scenery and A.' E. Jacobsen, stage settings. Andy Nyland and Max Nebeker are stage managers. A full cast of students taking leading parts and the characters they portray will be given next week. |
