Show WJ.NOAKES SERVICES SET Funeral services will be held in the First ward chapel at 2 p. m., today, for WiliT"-im I. Noakes, 60, well known resident of this city, who diei of complications compli-cations following a heart ailment, at his home Sunday afternoon. .Friends may call at the family residence, Fifth South, Fourth East street, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of A. Y. Wheeler mortuary. Mr. Noakes was born here November No-vember 5, 1878, a son of Hubbard Hub-bard and Susan Chllds Noakes, early pioneers. During his early life he was employed with the Denver and Rio Grande Western railroad company at Thistle. He later engaged en-gaged in a retail grocery business busi-ness here. He was employed for some time with the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe company at Iron-ton Iron-ton and was interested in the poultry industry. He married Katherine Boyack of Spanish Fork, in 1904. Surviving are his widow,' ' a daughter and four sons, Mrs. Thelma Whitty of Martinez, Cal; Ralph Noakes of Oakland; Wallace. Wal-lace. Sterling and Bernell Noakes of Springville; one grandchild; a brother and two sisters, David Noakes of Logan; Mrs. Polly Day of Elmo, Utah, and Mrs. Eunice Weight of Springville. |
