Show High. School News Items BY CLARA HARMER "Girls' Day" will be Thursday, May 10 at the high school. In the morning the honor assembly will be given and in the afternoon the iris will give an assembly. The honor banquet will be in the evening followed by the Girls' Day dance. The annual Nebo Day will be held here for the first time. Contestants Con-testants from both Junior and Senior high schools will meet. One and one-half hour tests will be given in all classes next Tuesday and Wednesday. Next year's officers are as follows: Mayor, Bert aylor; judge. Max Mendenhall; secretary-treasurer, Thelma Madsen; 2-year councilman, coun-cilman, Bert Cherrington; 1-year senior councilmen, Helen Tew and Ted Taylor; 2-year junior councilman, Virginia Bird, 1-year junior councilman, Elaine Nielson. Senior high seminary graduation gradua-tion exercises will be held Sunday May 13 at the high school. The exercises for the Junior high seminary will be held Friday, May 11. |
