A. music festival given under the direction of the leaders of the wards of Springville, Spring-ville, Mapleton and Thistle .Sunday .Sun-day evening, at the high school. Stake Supervisor S. Verl Jones was in charge with Mrs. Julia Sumsion, stake accompanist assisting. as-sisting. Kolob stake Relief society conference con-ference will be held Sunday, May 27, it is announced. A detailed program of the time and place of various meetings will be announced an-nounced later. - Mrs. Erma Long underwent a major operation at a Provo liospital Monday. The last meeting of the season of the Utah county chapter for Mental Hygiene will be held Monday, Mon-day, May 14, at 7:30 p. m. at the Utah State hospital, Provo. Dr. Garland H. Pace, superintendent superin-tendent of the hospital will be the principal speaker. The public is invited to attend. Three one-act plays, "The Wedding Wed-ding Presents," "The CYnt'lict" and "Friends of the Family" will be given as a badet card entertainment enter-tainment at the First ward at 7:30 p. m. Saturday. All ward members and friends are invited to attend. |
