Show BRIDGES ARE COMPLETED With the completion of a new $3500 cement bridge on First East street, over Hobble Creek, the road was formally opened by Mayor George A. Anderson and City Road Chairman A. O. Thorn, Monday. The new bridge, which constitutes one of the major improvements im-provements in the city this spring, is 47 by 20 feet. It was constructed con-structed under the same specifications specifi-cations as the state highway bridges. The extension work on the Hobble Hob-ble Creek bridge on Second F.ast street is complete and when filled in this bridge also will add to the safety and appearance of that section of the roadway. The city plans to build about six more foot bridges over the creek, before completing com-pleting the bridge program initiated initi-ated early this spring.
