Show PAYSON BOY L WINS F. F. A. " SPEECHEVENT Robert White, a student of the Payson high school captured the Future Farmers oratorical division divi-sion contest held here Monday afternoon. A feature of the event which was followed by a fathers' and son's banquet, was the official visit of Andrew Sundstrom, Beres-ford, Beres-ford, South Dakota, national F. F. A. president and W. A. Ross, Washington, D. C, executive secretary sec-retary of the organization. 10 Schools Represented White will represent the local district at the state F.F.A. oratorical ora-torical contest to be held in Salt Lake City soon. His subject was "A Brighter Day in the Future for Farming." Ten schools of Utah, Wasatch and Salt Lake counties were represented as follows Nephi, Payson, Spanish Fork, Provo, Heber, Murray, Pleasant Grove, American Fork, Lehi and Jordan, j |
