Show SERVICES FOR D. C. ALLEMAN Impressive and largely attended attend-ed funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, in the Second Sec-ond ward chapel, for Daniel Clifford Clif-ford Alleman, prominent poultry man of this community, who died Sunday morning of injuries sustained sus-tained in an automobile accident, Friday. Mr. Alleman attempted to crank his truck while in gear, near 126 South Main street. The truck leaped the cement curbing crushing crush-ing Mr .Alleman under the axel. He sustained several lractured ribs, a fractured collarbone and internal injuries. Mr. Alleman was born here, November No-vember 30, 1884, a son of Daniel J. and Amanda E. Starr Alleman. He attended Springville schools, the Brigham Young university and the L. D. S. Business college. During the World war, he server serv-er as office manager at the Fay-etteville, Fay-etteville, N. C, military camp. He was stock clerk for the Spring-ville-Mapleton Sugar company for a number of years, and has been bookkeeper for a number of construction con-struction companies at various times. He filled an L. D. S. mission to the southern states in 1907-08. H was Second ward clerk ten years, and was a Kolob stake high priest at the time of his death. He married Alda Miner, March 25, 1914, in the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple. Surviving are his widow and a daughter Mary Elizabeth Alleman, Springville; two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Lelia Thomas, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jessie Whiting, Glen and Will Alleman, Springville. |
