In the girls' singles, Aitene Hatch, the Springville champion, bowed to Jean Worl-ton, Worl-ton, the Lehi champion, 7-5, 1-9. This was the feature match of the day from the standpoint of speed and spectacular plays. The Spring-ville participants will continue play Thursday. In the senior singles Mutt Olson Ol-son defeated Howe Wood house by default. Matt Olsen defeated Dan Worlton 6-0, 6-0. Olsen displayed dis-played brilliant tennis in this game. In rhe advanced singles Dick Buorman won a hard fought match from Joe Robinson. The score was 6-4, 7-5. Behind five games to love, in the second set, Boorman made a sensational comeback to win seven straight, games. j Krie Boorman andvanced by j defeating Russell Bone 6-2, 6-3. In the advanced doubles the Boorman brothers won an impressive im-pressive victory from 'Bone and Worlton 6-0, 6-3.
