Clark of Lehi, is seeking nomination nomina-tion on the Democratic ticket for the four-year term on his record in the office. Since Mr. Clark was elected to the County Commission in 1936, the county has not borrowed bor-rowed any money, but has operated operat-ed upon a strictly cash basis, at the same time lowering the levy each year. This year the levy will be reduced by the substantial amount of .75 mill. Efficiency in county departments j has been a watchword of Mr. Clark. j He has insisted that all the road equipment of the county has been kept at a high standard and has been diligent in seeing to it that the county has received full value for every dollar that has been expended. ex-pended. A native of Utah county, Mr. Clark received his education in the Lehi elementary and high school, and the Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural College at Logan. He tilled till-ed a mission for the L.D.S. church in Australia, and is a veteran of the World war. Since the war, he has engaged in general farming farm-ing and livestock growing, and has been a leader in the Farm Bureau and co-operative marketing market-ing organizations. He has served the county as a deputy assessor and is well acquainted ac-quainted with property valuations. He has also, served as a federal census enumerator. Mr. Clark's wide experience and his marked ability in handling the many problems arising in the affairs af-fairs of the county fit him admirably admir-ably for the position of County Commissioner for the four-year term.
