Show G. W.HUMPHREY SERVICES HELD A large number of reatives and friends paid final tributes of respect re-spect to George William Humphrey Humph-rey of this city at funeral services in the Third ward chapel, Sunday afternoon. The Fourth ward bishopric bish-opric was in charge of the services. serv-ices. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Humphrey a retiring, yet well known citizen of this city was born June 11, 1863, in San Bernardino, Calif., a son of John' Proctor and Martha Haymond Humphrey .He came to Springville about 1877, and had lived here most of the time since. Mr. Humphrey was a carpenter by trade. He is survived hv his widow Mrs. Celestine Alexander Humphrey, Humph-rey, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Joseph 'Brirs, E. O. Humphrey of Salt Lake City; A. C. Humphrey, Eureka; Clyde Humphrey, Atolia, Calif.; Mrs. Edward Tiguc, Mammoth; J. W. Humphrey, Magna; Mrs Morris Crammer, Springville; 26 grandchildren ;eight great grandchildren; a brother, C. M Humphrey, Provo; a sister, Mrs C. S. Johnson, Beaty, Nev. Mr. Humphrey had been in ill health for about ten years. He died on Thursday of the past week, at the family residence on Second North "Fourth East street |
