Show Hospital dronnds To Be Landscaped A $10,500 WPA project for landscaping and permanent improvements im-provements at the Utah Valley hospital, 1'enth North and Fifth West street, was approved today by District Director Ben H. Beveridge and forwarded to Wash-into, Wash-into, D. C, for final okeh, according ac-cording to Clayton Jenkins, hospital hos-pital board secretary. The project calls for clearing grounds, planting of lawns, instal lation of concrete walks, curbing, rock asphalt parking, tennis court, rock-lined ditch, sprinkling system, erection of a flag pole, and other improvements. Forty-eight per cent of the cost, $5051, is to be appropriated by the federal government and 52 per cent, $5449 furnished by the hospital corporation. The WPA portion will be for approximately 100 man months of labor and the hospital share for equipment and materials chiefly. Preliminary work for landscaping land-scaping and outdoor improvements already has been done, states Mr. I Jenkins. |
