Show TEACHERS ARE NAMED FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS Six thousand, two hundred boys and girls of Nebo School District will again take up their school activities ac-tivities at nine o'clock Tuesday morning. September 8. The buildings build-ings of the district have all been renovated, repaired and made comfortable for the housing of these bovs and girls for the coming com-ing school term. The junior and senior high schools of the dis- j trict had spring registration, and the daily program of the students stu-dents in these schools has been worked out during the summer and mailed to the individual students stu-dents so that class work can begin be-gin on the opening day of school. All students are urged to be in attendance from the first day of school, as students entering late get behind in their work and lose interest, and frequently have a desire to drop out of school. On Saturday. September 5, all junior and senior high school students stu-dents are requested to go to their respective buildings and arrange for payment of their activity and other special fees. The school calendar, adopted for the year by the board of education, educa-tion, sets teachers' institute for Friday. September I and Monday September 7 to be held at the Spanish Fork senior high school, with regular class work begin- ning on Tuesday 8. The schools will be closed Thursday and Friday, Fri-day, October 29 and 30 for the U. E. A. convention, and Thursday Thurs-day and Friday. November 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving recess. The Christmas vacation will extend ex-tend from Thursday, December 24, to Monday, January 4. Friday. May 24, is the closing date of schools.
