Show POULTRY QUEEN TO BE NAMED i AMERICAN FORK Miss I Vivian Makin heads the group of six girls still in the race for queen of the Poultry day celebration cele-bration to be held next Saturday. Second place honors at the last counting is Mable Brewer fol- lowed by Flonne Jivans, nxntn Young, Vilate Boley and Norma Gordon. With the voting to end tonvght a great deal of interest and last minute rushing of votes is holding forth to bring surprises as who will hold top honors. Second place winner will be proclaimed pro-claimed Miss American Fork and ride1 on the float which took second place in the Pioneer Days parade in Salt Lake City. Monday. Mon-day. At daybreak a cannon salute will open the day's events. A band concert begins at 9 a. m. with American Am-erican and Spanish Fork, Payson, Pleasant Grove and Nephi bands scheduled to take part; at 10 a. m. a parade will begin, including scores of floats. The parade will be repeated at 6:30 p. m. Games and races will feature the afternoon events. An evening entertainment program ibegins at the high school at 8 o'clock. |
