Show AGGIE BAND TO PLAY HERE For the past nine years the U. S. A. C. student body has sent a concert band of approximately approxi-mately 80 members on a good will tour in various parts of the state. This year the band, under the direction of Professor N. W. Christensen, will play two concerts con-certs in Springville on Tuesday, March 30. They will play a concert con-cert at 3 p.m., at the high school for students and in the evening beginning at 7:30 p. m., at the Fourth Ward amusement hall for the public. The concerts, to be free of charge, is being sponsored by the M. I. A. nd the M. I. A. meetings for that evening will be cancelled. The band program will be varied with classical, semi-classical and humorous numbers given. They will play "The March of 1812" by Tschaikowsky; "Memories "Memo-ries of Steven Foster" and various vari-ous other favorites. Several former Springville students stu-dents play in the band including Jack Cherrington. who is also manager of the group. |
