Show BINKS OBSERVE 58TH WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Binks, one of the oldest married couples in this community, observed their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary receiitly. Due to Mr. Binks' ill health, no special celebration was planned plan-ned but friends and relatives called to extend them felicitations during the day. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 23, 1850. Mr. Binks was only three years old when he crossed the plains by ox-team with his father and a 'brother. The mother and a brother died and were buried bur-ied on the plains en route to Utah. For a while they l!Ved in Bountiful, coming to Springville in 1875. where he has lived since. Mrs. Binks was torn in Springville, Spring-ville, November 15, 1856. and has lived here always. Her chief interests in-terests have been in her home and its surroundings. The couple have five children, 10 grandchildren grandchil-dren and two great grandchildren. |
