L Tlie most crucial panic of the year will be played tomorrow night in the Springville high school gymnasium, when Tintic comes here to meet the Red Devils. This game will decide which team goes to the state tournament, and which team plays the loser of the Provo-American Fork game. Springville and Tintic are tied at seven games won and one game lost. The winner will be assured a place in the state tournament, tour-nament, so both coaches. Art Hughes of Springville, and Parkinson Park-inson of Tintic, will throw all they have into the game. Every bit of room in the small gym is expected to be taken when the game starts at 7:30 o'clock Friday Fri-day night. Tintic places its entire offensive offen-sive upon Burp, Naylor and Ath-crly. Ath-crly. These three boys are great scorers. Each one is a dead shot from the middle of the floor or from around the basket. Coach Hughes is expected to center his defense upon ihese fellows. Captain "Sk'nny" Fullmer, Matt Olsen, and "Blooch' Nielson will carry the scoring weight for the Red Devils. Don Blanchard and Leland Clements will also do their share, but their main job will be to hold down Tintic. But whoever who-ever comes out on top, they will have to fight for it. Both teams are keyed up, and a great game is expected. ONLY RESERVE SEATS Through the necess'ty to accommodate ac-commodate all those who wish to go- to the Springville-Tintic game, we find it necessary that only those with reserve seat tickets tick-ets will be allowed scats. All others oth-ers will have to stand up. Through this arrangement many more will be able to see the game. No children will be admitted. |
