Show FIREMEN MAKE ANNUAL REPORT ON 1930 WORK The Springvilie fire department responded to 25 calls during 1930., with a total damage estimated at $4137.50, according; to the annual leport. City calls totaled 21, with damage estimated at $3,412.50. The state lish hatchery with a damage of $2760 was a big item in the total of city fire damage. Four county runs were made by the department, with a total damage dam-age from these fires amounting to $695. With an enrollment of 23 members mem-bers au average of IS men have attended at-tended each fire during the year. A new pump costing $366 was purchased for the large truck this year together with 200 feet of hose and two Pyrene guns. The members of the department have won three pennants and a silver cup for outstanding work in the county and state tournaments tourna-ments held at Eureka and Provo respectively. The latter award was made when the Spiingville team set a new state record of 7.2 seconds in the ladder race at the slate tournament tourna-ment held at Provo. |
