Show S. F. BOYS TO ATTEND SHOW ; Joe Mandcrfield, manager of the Salt Lake Union stockyards and chairman of the livestock committee commit-tee of the Salt Lake chamber of commerce, and i. J. Maynard, dean of the college of agriculture at Logan, Lo-gan, wil.l h'sad the Uta'n delegation to the fifth annual Junior Livestock Live-stock and Baby Beef show at San Francisco, California, from November Novem-ber 14th to 16th. Loading their cars with young exhibitors from t'ne Spanish Fork high school, they will join a group from Colorado, headed by Rodney Tucker, county agent of Montrose, and Frank Wilson, whose two boys wi(l exhibit baby beef. The Nevada Ne-vada delegation will join the caravan cara-van as it passes through that state. The opening program, the judging judg-ing of baby beef, lambs and hogs, will occupy Monday and Tuesday, November 14th and 15. The third day, Wednesday, will be devoted to the auction. On Wednesday night, th'e youngsters, together with their instructors and others, will lfe guests at a banquet to be held at the Commercial club, with Jos- I cph Thompson, toastmaster, and Leland W. Cutler, president of the chamber of commerce, one of the principal speakers. On the following follow-ing day the youngsters will be taken for a sightseeing trip around San Francisco. |
