Salt Lake and Utah Railway company went from 5732,032 in valuation last year to 5637,781 this year. Mines Lose Heavily The largest decrease In valuation valua-tion comes in mines and mining claims. In 1932 they were valued at $2,727,080, while this year they are set nearly a million dollars lower, at $1,738,284- ' They have come down steadily since the crash in 1929. Other decreases are shown all the way through. This is a reduction of $4,718,013. Reductions came all along the line, a 20 percent reduction on farm lands, ordered by County Assessor As-sessor Robert L. Elliott, being allowed al-lowed to stand by the state tax commission. Corporate property asessed by the commission was reduced re-duced from $17,716,847 in 1932 to $15.801,4S9 in 1933. The assessor's valuation went down $2,802,655, it beoing $29,514.-772 $29,514.-772 in 1932 and is $26,712,117 this year. Corporate Values Shrink- Since the year 1930 the tax commission com-mission has lost $6,200,000 on utili ties, which have gone from $22,-000,000 $22,-000,000 to $15,800,000.
