Show HELPER WILL LICENSE BEER 'l-IELPER, Utah, July 29 (U.R) This little coal mining village has decided to repeal Its dry ordinances and license the sale of beer. After passing a resolution repealing repeal-ing all city ordinances prohibiting possession, manufacture or sale of beverages containing more than one half of one per cent of alcohol, the city council instructed City Attorney At-torney Thorit Hatch to draft an ordinance providing for the licensing licens-ing of establishments desiring to sell beer. "We are taking this action in accordance ac-cordance with the w'ishes of President Presi-dent Roosevelt," said Mayor Frank Porter. ' ''We feel that this is the general sentiment throughout the United, States." |
