Show Members of the La Conda club of Provo were entertained ' Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. Bliss Childs in SpringviUe. The annual election of officer was held as follows: Mrs. T. L. Callister, president; Mrs. Percy Anderson, secretary and Mrs. George B. Carter, Car-ter, reporter. Sewing, music and a tasty luncheon were the diversions. Present were Mrs. Claude C. Car-dell, Car-dell, Mrs. George B. Carter, Mrs. LeRoy J. Olsen, Mrs. M. Reed Johnson, Mrs. T. L. Callister, Mrs. J. Clyde Knudsen, Mrs. Percy Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Paul A. Thome, Mrs. Arthur Harmor and Mrs. John Childs, the latter two being invited guests. Miss Faun Livingston was hostess host-ess to a number of friends at a home party following the opera Thursday evening. A delightful time was spent playing games and with a musical program. Later a tasty luncheon was served by the hostess assisted by her mother, Mrs. Hcber Livingeston to the following fol-lowing guests present: Miss Wanda Wan-da Stewart, Miss Fern Boyer, Miss Madge Wheeler, Miss Marie Simp-kins, Simp-kins, Lawrence Johnson, Warrick Palfreyman. Carl Weight, Bert Brown and Russell Thorpe. , Complimentary to her daughter ! Delia-Ray whose seventh birthdav j occurred Friday, Mrs. Delia Bird, assisted by her mother, Mrs. E. M. j Boyer entertained at a prettily I arranged birthday party during the afternoon. Each little guest was presented with a paper cap, competitive com-petitive games wore features, and prizes awarded to the winners. Concluding the party a dainty lunch was served to a large crowd of little school friends present. A nicely arranged birthday party-was party-was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ostler Wednesday for their little son Blaine who was j four years old. Following a pleas-. pleas-. ant time with games a dainty 1 luncheon was served to the following follow-ing guests: Erma, Elma and Mor- Wo Pntrick, Dean and Gcan Averctt, Av-erctt, Billy and Fauntella Ostler and the honor guest Blaine Ostler. A nicely arranged dinner was given Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler at their home for a number of friends including Mr. and Mrs. Alva Zabriskie and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wheeler and daughter Edda and son Bert, Miss Thco Riding and Miss Veda Deming of Ogden. Social chat and music were diversions of the afternoon. Mrs. Sol Clyde of this city assisted assist-ed by her sister Mrs. Mark Roberts Rob-erts of Provo entertained at a stork shower Friday afternoon for their sister Mrs. A. R. Beardall at whose home a pair of twins recently recent-ly arrived. Games, music and social so-cial chat were the principal diversions diver-sions and a delicious luncheon was served. Numerous beautiful gifts were presented to the arrivals. About forty close friends and relatives rel-atives from this city and Provo were in attendance at the affair. Members of the N. I. P. elub of this city were pleasantly entertained entertain-ed at the home of Mrs. Audrey Jen-son Jen-son Saturday evening. Progressive '500'' was the principle diversion and was followed by a dainty lunch which suggested St. Patrick's day. Present were the following members and guests: Mrs. Clara Childs, Mrs. Phil Stewart, Miss t Mabel Averett, Miss Ethel Taylor, Mrs. Maurice Bird, Miss Hilda Clegg, Miss Lois Blanchard. Mrs. Eldon Palfreyman and Miss Fay j Richmond of Provo. A number of ladies from Spring-i Spring-i ville attended the social sponcered by ladies of the board of control of i ladies clubs held in Provo Satur-J Satur-J day afternoon. They were: Mrs. ! G. M.
