Mr. and Mrs. Reed Halea .Were pleasantly surprised at their home Saturday evening by a number of friends. All present had a lovely time. Slipper was served. Mrs. Lily Binks and Mrs. Georgia Plumlee entertained the Seagull girls of the Primary at the Binks home Tuesday evening. Present were Cora and Dora Harmer, May Johnson, Delia Houtz, Ruth Clyde, Hazel Stone, Hattic Lee and Mae Johnson. A lovely luncheon was served after games and social chat. Mrs. Ada Lee entertained her Primary ciass at her home Saturday Satur-day afternoon. A lovely time was had by all present. Joseph Carnesecca, eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Car-nesecco, Car-nesecco, underwent an operation I'm- appendicitis at the Miner hospital hos-pital Monday morning. He is reported re-ported to he doing well. Mrs. Maxine Hales was hostess to her Primary class Monday evening eve-ning at her home. Valentine decorations dec-orations were cleverly arranged in the entertaining rooms. Games were played, after which luncheon was served to about 12 guests. Primary conference was held I MAPLETON L . Lovely in every detail was the party given Saturday evening by Miss Ruth Wiscombe at her home. Valentine decorations were carried out through the entertaining rooms. A Valentine box furnished much fun. Games were played early in the evening, and later dancing was enjoyed. Dainty refreshments were served to the hostess, and Verla Whiting. La Rie Perry, Ella Snow. Binks has returned to her home here from Helper, where she has been spending the winter months at the home of her son. Mr. Joe Binks. Mapleton visitors of last woex were Mr. Clyde Larsen and Mrs. Arthur Hall of Logan, who are attending at-tending school at the U. A. C.
