Show Citizenship Test Tough; Washington Thought President NEW YORK. Feb. 23 (U.R) Into federal court today came Anthony Ziazzo and Pietro Fauvazzi, seeking seek-ing to become citizens of the United States. "Who," asked Judge Grover Mos-cowitz, Mos-cowitz, "is president of the United States?" "George Washington," responded Ziazzo. "Who is governor of New York ?" injured the judge hoping Ziazzo would atone for his first mistake and qualify for citizenship papers. "George Washington," replied Ziazzo. Judge Moscowitz abandoned Ziazao and turned to Fauvazzi. "Who is Calvin Coolidge?" h asked. "I never heard of him," Fauvazzi replied. ' P. S. They didn't get their papers. |
