Show Y I Health Conference Reveals Defects Among Children A total of 41 children were examined ex-amined at the regular monthly health clinic held in Springville Wednesday afternoon. Of these four were special cases. Defective tonsils and rhinitis were the leading ailments found among the children. From the lack of sunshine through the long win-ter win-ter months, it was said, a large number of children showed tendencies ten-dencies of tickets than at any other conferences. Dr. J. R. Bowdish, director of the Utah county health unit, was the examining physician and stated that a spirit of cooperation in manifest among mothers in the health work. Many have had defects de-fects corrected which were found in previous examinations. Mis. Emma Alleman, chairman of the local health unit, and Mrs. Otis Hjorth, Mrs. John S. Boyer, Mrs. A. W. Cherrington and Mrs. Nephi Gledhill of the stake Relief societies assisted with the work. |
