Show TwO Hurt as Cars Crash at Street Intersection Two Provo residents were injured in-jured in a street intersection crash there, Tuesday evening when two cars collided at Geventh North and First East street in that city. Mrs. May RoDercs, 50, 291 East Seventh North, sustained severe bruises and possible internal injuries. in-juries. She was riding with her son, Howard Roberts, tester for the Utah-Wasatch Herd Improvement Improve-ment association, when the accident happened. Miss Aiiene Speckart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs .Frank Speckart, 266 North Third East suffered an injured knee. She was riding with her brother, Jesse Speckart. 16. Roberts was driving west on Seventh North in a coupe when he collided with the large Spackart sedan, couiiug north on First East. According to Police Officer Bert Halliday who investigated the accident, ac-cident, Speckart was travelling quite rapidly as he approached the : intersection from the south. The Speckart car struck the Roberts machine 10 feet west from the center of the intersection, the officers said, turning the machine around as it came to a stop GO feet away across the sidewalk. Roberts' car was badly damaged. Mrs. Roberts was removed to her 'home where she was said to be resting easily, Wednesday. |
