Show ANDERSEN HID DEPUTIES Former Pro vo Man To Be Chief Deputy; in Office. John W. Guy, former auditor audi-tor and county treasurer of Utah county, now living in Salt Lake, will be the chief deputy in the office of Julius C. Andersen of Provo, "who becomes state auditor with the advent of the new Democratic Demo-cratic state administration after the first of the year. The announcement of Mr. Guy's appointment was made by Mr. Andersen, An-dersen, Tuesday. At the same time j he named nine other deputies and 1 office employes who have won the approval of the county and state Democratic committees. Others Named They are as follows: Gus Fern-ley, Fern-ley, Beaver, former cashier of the ! Beaver bank; E. J. Burnett, Salt Lake City, a native of Eden, Weber We-ber county, and former auditor for the Paramount theaters. J. E. Webb, accountant of Logan. Junius Fisher, Salt Lake, office manager of the Salt Lake county Democratic committee during the past campaign. LcRoy Malin, Ogden accountant. Jerry Beesley, Salt Lake, music i dealer and orchestra leader with experience in accounting. Frank M. Atwood, Pleasant Grove;, former manager Farmers Exchange, Pleasant Grove and former for-mer employe Utah State National bank, Salt Lake. I Farrell Adams, Salt Lake, will j be steongrapher. and accountant. , He is employed with the Continental Continen-tal National bank. ' Miss Erma B. Biwn, Provo, Will be stenographer. She has formerly been employed by the Brown Insurance agency here. Mr. Andersen announced also .that he intends to retain one of the deputies now employed in the state auditor's office until after the state legislature has completed its session. There is also a possibility possi-bility of one more deputy appointment, appoint-ment, to be made later. With the announcement of his appointments, Mr. Andersen has completed the final details before assuming office. His bond of $50,-000 $50,-000 has been filed. The family will reside at 163 North State street, Salt Lake City. His place in the county recorder's record-er's office will be taken by Andrew An-drew R. Shelton, Lehi. |
