Show MECHANICAL ARTS EXHIBIT rt.mev,te One of the outstanding exhibits if not the best of its kind eve" hold at the high school, was the display Thursday of toys and oLhcr Christmas gifts made by the si u-dents u-dents of the mechanical arts department, de-partment, during the past three weeks, under the supervision of A. E. Jacobsen. Nearly 500 articles were displayed display-ed by boys of the junior high school and included toy unini.i on wheels, dogs, horses, rabbits, bears, chickens, ducks, wagons, carts, tables, cupboards, rocking horses, blackboards, and other articles too numerous to mention. The boys of the eighth and ninth grades exhibited over GO pieces ol furniture made for their mothers, including magazine stands, table", footsiools and many other pieces. All were made of walnut, grown, sawed and milled in Springville. The work was done by hand toolb, without the aid cf machinery.
