Show SOCIETY NEVS Mrs. Clara Childs was hostess Saturday evening to members of the N. I. P. club. During progressive pro-gressive "500" games Mrs. Sarabell Stewart won high score favor and Mrs. Chloris Kindred the consolation consola-tion prize. Social chat and music were also enjoyed by those present. Many pretty tedding gifts were presented present-ed to the young couple. Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Miss Sarah Loynd, daughter of Mrs. Sarah A. Loynd of this city to George C. Kendall al.so of Springville. The marriage took place in Salt Lake. Miss Loynd was a former teacher at the Grant school in this city ar.d is now teaching in the Alpine dis-tiict. dis-tiict. The couple are making their homo here for the present. Miss Jessee Gunnell entertained at a sumptuous chicken dinner at her home on Sunday evening. Early spring flowers were used to decollate deco-llate the table. Guests included: i Misses Norma Robinson, Thelma Golding, LaNell Rothwell, Dorothy Oschse, Velma Blanchard, and Messrs Lewis Snow, Max Murray, Loran Hiatt, Glenn Nielson, Chester Conover, Arthur and Frank Gunnell. Gun-nell. Mr. and Mrs. West Hutchings of this city announce the marriage of their daughter Aleen to Roy Groes-beck, Groes-beck, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Groesbeck, of this city. The marriage took place Thursday at Provo. The young couple left Sat-ui Sat-ui day for Monrovia. California to make their home. A number of friends delightfully surprised Eric Borman at his home on Thursday. Games and a delicious de-licious picnic lunch were enjoyable feature of the party. Mrs. D. B. Welch was hostess to members of the Kensington club at her home Tuesday afternoon. A iwo-eourFc luncheon was served to j 22 members present. Mrs. Welch j was assisted by her mother Mrs. L. ; ; M. Gillilan. During the afternoon plans were discussed for a luncheon lunch-eon to be given by the ladies of the club on April 11.
