The answers are to be found in the personal histories of the folk who succeed and those who fail. Wondered WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ! WOOL AND MOHAIR? ; Cotton, Rayon and Wool are familiar to every one, but an understandable under-standable knowledge of Mohair is not common to the average person. When Mohair is mentioned we think of the plush used cm upholstered ! furniture or in Pullman seats. Yet plush is only one of a great variety of weaves of this yarn. Mohair is the fleece of the Angora Goat, not the wool of the sheep. It is neither camel's hair nor Alpaca from the Indes Llama. Under the microscope, sheep's wool has scales, similar to those of a fish, which are dust catchers. Mohair has the same tubular construction, but it is smooth and firm as fine' wire. This property makes it shed dirt, dust and germs. It will not felHike vool and is highly resilient which makes it non-crush--able and hard wearing. As a drapery fabric, Mohair is just coming into its own. Although we are told in tha Bible that the veil of Solomon's temple was made of Mohair, it's possibilities have been rather overlooked, as a drapery fabric, ' until quite recently. B Crisp, printed, stencilled and hand blocked fabrics are now immensely immense-ly popular. The lustre and brilliant beauty of Mohair is never lost. Tubbing Tub-bing increases its lustre. Their loveliness is woven in, and their soft glow and graceful folds will defy sun and time.
