UV.R) No reason could be advanced here today for the apparent suicide of Frank Adams, 50, who washed potassium po-tassium cyanide crystals down his threat with water late yesterday as he and Carl Bennett were gathering gather-ing water cress in a spring near Lehi. Bennett declared his companion com-panion had appealed happy all day, tiul save no intimation of his actions ac-tions before he poured some white crystals in his hand, placed them in his mouth, then drank some water. He died 20 minutes later in a physician's physi-cian's office here. Officers believe the cyanide ryslals had been in Adams' purse for some time. Examination was '.o be made, Monday, of the drug by "he state chemist to ascertain its identity. He is survived by his wife, Mrsi. Frank Adams; his mother, Caroline .f.l urns: and the following brothers and sisters, Lyman and Warren Mams, American Fork; Stephen Adams, Lehi; Mrs. Leon Jackson, .pleasant Grove, and Mrs. A. Len-tichcr, Len-tichcr, Lehi. Deputy Sheriff Martin Strebel in-estijjated in-estijjated the case. |
