In compliment to Aliss Thelma Burr, an April bride, Airs. J. D. Childs entertained at a shower Saturday Sat-urday evening. The rooms were decorated in spring flowers. Eighteen Eigh-teen guests enjoyed a kensington and games, followed by luncheon. In the presence of forty relatives and intimate friends, Aliss Thelma Burt became the bride of Air. Harvey Har-vey Foarn Thursday evening, April 29. Under a bower of white spring blossoms, the ceremony was performed per-formed at the home of the bride's parents, Air. and Airs. P. B. Burt, by Bishop Hilton Robertson. The bride wore a gown of white Georgette Geor-gette and carried a shower bouquet hoi low bowls of lillies of the valley, ley. White flowers were used for decorations and the supper table held low howls of liliesof-the-valley. A musical program was carried out during the dinner, aud dancing followed. fol-lowed.
