Show Death Of Gomez Ends Revolution Services Held for Executed Rebel Leader; Thousands View Body in Mexico City; Three Others Are Shot. MEXICO CITY. Nov. 7 (UP) The recent Mexican revolution virtually vir-tually passed into history today with funeral services for General Arnulfo Gomez, one of the leaders of the revolt who was captured and executed Friday by the government. The funeral was to be at 11 a. m. Several thousand persons visited the home of Alessa Robles yesterday yester-day to view Gomez' body. In anoth-! anoth-! er casket beside that of the slain leader reposed the body of his nephew, Colonel Francisco Gomez Vizcarra. who was executed with his uncle. Colonel Vizcarra'e funeral funer-al was held late yesterday. No announcement has been made as to the time of funeral services for three other revolutionary offi-1 cers executed by the Calles government govern-ment Saturday morning. The war department announced that the three, General Adalberto Palacios, Col. Salvator Costanos and Major Francisco Meza Perez, were shot to death after summary court martial. |
