Straight ballots cast were. Citizens, 328; Democrats, 88, and Republicans, 81. With a total of 711 votes. Dr. j Anderson more than doubled the t other two candidates, whose totals 1 were, Hilton Robertson, Democrat, 153, and D. F. Crandall, Republican, 188. i Councilmen on the Citizens ticket were easy winners over the rest of the field, as is indicated by the accompanying tab 'ation of the votes. Perhaps the most hotly contest of the compaign was that for the J office of city recorder. In this j Harry Pennington won by a fair i margin, with 451 votes, with W. W.
