Show RELIEF FUND WORKERS AT B.ICHAPEL Students Told of Alarming Conditions in Near East Countries. The Near East Relief ftlnd was explained and contributions to It ndvocatcd by Mrs. E. T. Allen of Walla Walla, Wash., and wife of E. T. Allen of Whitman college, chairman of the movement in the northwest, at the Monday morning chapel exercises of the Brigham Young university. "Boys, show your thankfulness thnt you have a home and the opportunity op-portunity to make a date for the show with a young lady by contributing con-tributing a dime, 15 cents, or a quarter to this fund for the relief of the young boys and girls of the Near East," Mrs. Allen snid, after explaining conditions that exist in eastern Europe and western Asia, where she spent some time as a teacher in the schools and later as a visitor. "Girls, show your thankfulness by contributing a quarter to this great cause," she continued to the young ladies.
