Show Congressman Leatherwood Meets Death WASHINGTON, Dec. 24. (10!) Rep. Elmer O. Lcatherwood, Repn., Salt Lake City, died at Garfield hospital here today of heart disease. dis-ease. Ho died after a lingering illness. Leatherwood was prominent in the house during the fight .several years against the Boulder dam project. pro-ject. He has served foiir succes-ivp succes-ivp terms in coneress and is sur- vived by his wife Nancy AlbaugL and one child. Margaret., Leatherwood was born September 4. 1872, on a farm in southern Ohio. He received his education at Kansas State Normal school and Wisconsin university. From 1894 to 1898 he was engaged in public school work and later was for many years a lawyer in Salt Lakc City. |
