The Alumni of the Springville high school were in charge of the splendid program given Friday in the auditorium. President Me! Raymond was in charge. A largo crowd attended. In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Roundy who were married December Decem-ber 18, a wedding reception -.'as given in the First ward amusement hall Thursday evening. A fine program pro-gram and dancing were featured and the guests of honor were recipients re-cipients of many pretty wedding gifts presented them by the large number of friends and relaitves present. One of thc successful social events of the week-end was the banquet and program given by thc members of the Springville high school band at the school Friday evening. The girls so it is reported report-ed by the male members of the band, proved excellent cooks that evening and everyone present en-joyed en-joyed themselves immensely. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Brown and son, Bert, were dinner guests Christmas day at thc home of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brown in Provo. In thc afternoon thc party motored to Salt Lake and spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. J. E.
