Show I Springville News . Miss Ella Ward 'entertained friends at a dinner party last Sunday Sun-day evening, at her home. Harry Curtis was in Salt Lake a part of this week. Mrs. Vern Snow, now living in Salt Lake, has been visiting here. F. W. Goates of Salt Lake spent last week-end in Springvllle. Violet Treadway, a nurse at the Holy Cross hospital in Salt Lake spent Sunday here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Tread-way. Tread-way. Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Cellventra were in Salt Lake during the week to attend a meeting of one of the lodges. Cornell Jessee went to Salt Lnke Tuesday to attend a missionary school prior to leaving for the mission mis-sion field. James E. Wonnaeott visited pver the week-end with his family here. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Dallin had as their dinner guests Sunday Mrs. Dallln's parents and brother, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Jolley nnd Calvin Jolley nnd Mrs. Gordon Garrett of Salt Lake, and Mr. Dnllin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dallin. Mr. and Mrs. G. L .Dallin leave shortly for Castella. where they will make their home for the summer. Dr. and Mrs. Fred Hardy and family of Salt Lake City spent Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday at the home of Mrs. Millie Mnrtaln. Parker will leave today for Salt Lake City and will accompany their son, Lindsay, , as far as Montreal, where he leaves to fulfill a mission In Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Parker will visit in Buffalo, Buf-falo, New York, with relatives before be-fore returning home. ' A party In honor of Earl Hutch-ings Hutch-ings who leaves soon for a mission to South Africa was given at -his home Wednesday evening. Many beautfiul and useful presents were received, an enjoyable evening was spent by those present. "M" men of the Second ward en-, tertained at the borne of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Crandall, Jr., last Monday Mon-day evening for Cornell Jessee. Miss Marjorie Parker is spending a short time at home from school in Salt Lake City. Miss Grace Patterson spent last week in Salt Lake, the guest of Mrs. Sadie Stapp. Mr. and Mrs. John Painter, and Mr. and Mrs. George Lntimer of Nephi visited with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sauford Sunday. The Junior Mutual girls of the First ward hiked up to Kelley's grove last Friday morning and spent the day. The hikers were : Mrs. A. L.
