Show MRS. KING DIES IN WASHINGTON Wife of Former Provo Attorney Attor-ney Dies En Route to Europe. Mrs. Sam A. King, wife of Attorney Attor-ney Sam A. King, formerly of Provo, now of Salt Lake, died in Washington, D. C, early Wednesday morning, according to dispatches from the national capital. Mrs. King was en route to Europe where she had expected to visit witir her son, Carl, and daughter, Margaret, Mar-garet, when she was taken ill with influenza in Washington. Tuesday, pneumonia developed nnd she. breathed her last at 5 o'clock Wed-1 nesday morning. Her entire illness; covered but a period of four days. Carl King now is on a mission in Germany for the L. D. S. church; the daughter, Miss Margaret is studying music in Italy. Mrs. King was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hagley of Cottonwood. Utah, and was about 53 vears old at the time of her death. She was married to Samuel Sam-uel A. King in 1S02, and with him studied at the University of Ann Arbor, where Mr. King prepared for the practice of law. For many years Mr. and Mrs. King lived in Provo, where they made many friends. Some ten years ago they moved to Salt Lake City, : where Mr. King assumed his place among the leaders of the bar. |
